Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Shimoga, Government High School, Srirampura, Anganawadi, Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Samsthe and Grama Panchayat jointly organized Shramadana on 18.07.18 at Srirampura under Swachhata Pakhawada-Skill Se Sampurna Swachhata Campaign from 16th July, 2018 to 31st July 2018.
To spread awareness on Swachhata Abhiyana among the village and people Shramadana -cleaning of sourrounding area with the support of community people, Volunteers of ASHA organizations and students of Government School. Shramadana Program was inaugurated by Sri Aruna Devi, Director JSS, Shimoga by planting the sapling. She addressed the village people and students and stressed on need of cleanliness and hygiene in our surrounding, keep our health disease free. She also said beat plastic pollution which is the disaster invention of modern world and has to encourage for eco-friendly material.
Smt. Gouramma told everyone has to keep good health by keeping the village clean and hygiene. In this program Mr Prakash Jogi Vice Principal administered the oath of cleanliness to the village people and gatherers.
Thereafter more than 180 students, village people and Volunteers of ASHA organizations cleaned the surroundings of Marikamba Temple and Aganwadi, Shrirampura, Shimoga. Heaps of garbage, plastics and waste collected and disposed.
Village and community people applauded the work of students. Principal, Vice Principal and teachers also actively participated in this Swachata Abhiyan.
